About me
We live in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, which is about 65 km. east of Toronto, Ontario. Eric and Paulette are both teachers. Eric teaches primary grades, and Paulette teaches high school. We have four children in our family. Eric's two children are Julie and Adam. Paulette's two children are Erin and Amy. Julie is 24 and works as an Educational Assistant and also works as a waitress part-time. Adam is 21, and has a son, A.J. who will be 4 years old in September (that makes us grandparents!). Adam works at A.G. Simpson, which manufactures bumpers for the auto industry. Erin is 21, and is entering her 4th year at the University of Guelph, working on her honors degree in Neuropsychology. Amy is 17 and is entering the Marvel School of Beauty in the fall, studying to become a beautician. We like to travel when we are able to. We enjoy dining out and movies, but other than that, we are pretty much home-bodies.

What We're interested in:
  • Web Design
    Eric is busy most of the time working on building his internet business. Since starting in June of 1996 he has built up a modest list of clients who use his design services. Virtual servers are the mainstay of the business however, and he prides himself on offering his clients personal service.
  • Stained Glass & Teaching
    Paulette is currently enrolled in a stained glass course, something she has been interested in for some time. She is an awesome teacher, and prides herself on establishing a good working rapport with the kids.
  • Travel
    Paulette and Eric enjoy hiking, especiall in the mountains. We have hiked the Rocky Mountains both in Canada and Colorado. Some of our most memorable experiences were on a hike to Lawn Lake, in Estes Park, Colorado. We recently visited Florida with both of Eric's children, including our grandson, A.J., taking in DisneyWorld, of course and enjoying the warmer climate of the south during March break. The one place we have yet to visit is the East Coast of Canada. We are planning an excursion to British Columbia to visit Paulette's sister and husband, who live in Comox, B.C., on Vancouver Island next summer. We plan to do some hiking in the mountains out there. We here it is beautiful.
